SOUND SHIELD PLUS KNAUF Wallboard Plasterboard

Cutting Insulation King's KNAUF Sound Panel is a straightforward process. Follow these 4 simple steps:  

1. Using your measurements, use a pencil to make the markings on the plasterboard where you will cut.   
2. Use a spirit level to make sure the plasterboard is level.  
3. Using a sharp knife, make a small incision in the plasterboard according to your measurements.  
4. Line up your saw with the incision and cut all the way through the plasterboard.

The KNAUF Sound PanelU-value is 0.24 W/mK. This value indicates the material's ability to resist heat transfer. While this sound panel is primarily designed for acoustic insulation, its low thermal conductivity also offers a degree of thermal insulation. However, for full thermal insulation, another type of plasterboard will be better suited such as our Thermal EPS Insulated KNAUF Plasterboard.

The KNAUF Sound Panel is not waterproof. It is designed to address acoustic insulation needs and is not intended for applications in areas with continuous water exposure. For areas susceptible to moisture, it is advisable to use waterproof or moisture-resistant plasterboard like our KNAUF Moisture Panel.
