With great adhesive properties, this HardieBacker® cement board is the alternative to plywood for tiling on floors that is both water and mould-resistant, with MouldBlock™ Technology.  

The lightweight and easy-to-use EZ Grid 6mm and 12mm cement board from HardieBacker protects your flooring from rot, warping and swelling, offering optimal results for all types of tile or natural stone flooring.   

The HardieBacker 6mm and 12mm cement boards can be installed over an existing timber floor, or they can be installed together with underfloor heating to prevent any heat loss.
