The Catnic Standard Duty Steel Lintel CG150/100 3600mm is a high-performance structural support solution designed for use in 150mm cavity wall construction. Engineered to support typical masonry, timber floor, and roof loads commonly found in residential and light commercial buildings, this lintel provides reliable load distribution and long-term structural stability. Its open-back Cougar profile allows masonry to be built continuously on both the inner and outer leaf, ensuring efficient installation and a clean finish.
Manufactured from galvanised steel and finished with Catnic’s signature black powder coating, this lintel benefits from advanced Duplex corrosion protection for exceptional durability. Supplied fully insulated and featuring an integral plaster key and built-in damp-proof course (DPC), it helps improve thermal efficiency, reduce cold bridging, and simplify construction. Suitable for fair-faced inner leaf masonry, it offers a dependable and cost-effective solution for modern cavity wall applications.
Important: A minimum end bearing of 150mm is required on both sides of the opening. Therefore, a 3600mm lintel is suitable for a maximum structural opening of 3300mm.
