Description
The Catnic Standard Duty Steel Lintel CG150/100 3300mm is a robust structural support solution designed for use in 150mm cavity wall construction. Engineered to support typical masonry, timber floor, and roof loads found in most residential and light commercial buildings, this lintel provides reliable load distribution and long-lasting structural performance. Its open-back Cougar profile allows masonry to be built continuously on both the inner and outer leaf, making installation quicker and more efficient.
Manufactured from high-quality galvanised steel and finished with Catnic’s signature black powder coating, this lintel benefits from advanced Duplex corrosion protection for enhanced durability. Supplied fully insulated and featuring an integral plaster key and built-in damp-proof course (DPC), it helps improve thermal efficiency, reduce cold bridging, and simplify finishing work. Suitable for fair-faced inner leaf masonry, it offers a practical and cost-effective solution for modern cavity wall construction.
Important: A minimum end bearing of 150mm is required on both sides of the opening. Therefore, a 3300mm lintel is suitable for a maximum structural opening of 3000mm.
