The Catnic CG150/100 Standard Duty Cavity Wall Lintel 3000mm is a high-strength structural steel support designed for cavity wall construction with cavity widths between 150mm and 165mm. Engineered to provide reliable support over large openings, this lintel is ideal for carrying typical masonry, timber floor, and roof loads in residential and light commercial buildings.
Manufactured from galvanised steel and protected by Catnic’s renowned Duplex corrosion protection system, the lintel offers exceptional durability and long-term resistance to corrosion. Its open-back profile allows continuous masonry construction across both inner and outer leaves, while integral insulation, a built-in damp-proof course (DPC), and an integrated plaster key help improve thermal performance and simplify installation. Designed for dependable structural support and energy-efficient building performance, it is a practical solution for modern cavity wall systems.
Important: A minimum end bearing of 150mm is required on both sides of the opening. Therefore, a 3000mm lintel is suitable for a maximum structural opening of 2700mm.
