The Catnic CG150/100 Standard Duty Cavity Lintel 2400mm is a high-performance structural steel support designed for cavity wall construction with cavity widths between 150mm and 165mm. Engineered to support typical masonry, timber floor, and roof loads, it provides reliable load distribution across both the inner and outer leaves of the wall, making it ideal for residential and light commercial building projects.
Manufactured from galvanised steel and protected with Catnic's advanced Duplex corrosion protection system, this lintel offers exceptional durability and long-term resistance to rust and weathering. The open-back profile enables uninterrupted masonry construction, while integral insulation, a built-in damp-proof course (DPC), and an integrated plaster key help improve thermal performance and simplify installation. Designed to meet modern building standards, it delivers dependable structural support and energy-efficient performance.
Important: A minimum structural end bearing of 150mm is required on each side of the opening. Therefore, a 2400mm lintel is suitable for a maximum clear opening span of 2100mm.
