Description
The 37.5mm PL4025 PIR insulated plasterboard is a two-in-one thermal laminate comprising a 25mm rigid polyisocyanurate insulation core bonded to a 12.5mm tapered-edge plasterboard. It provides insulation and dry lining in a single installation, helping to reduce fitting time, labour and the number of materials required on site.
Designed for internal walls and roof linings, the board is suitable for solid masonry, timber-frame walls, pitched roofs and flat roof applications. It may be mechanically fixed to timber battens or studwork or direct-bonded to suitable masonry using an appropriate plasterboard adhesive. Its slim construction makes it particularly suitable for window and door reveals, refurbishment projects and rooms where internal space or headroom is limited.
The PIR core has a thermal conductivity of 0.022 W/mK and provides an overall thermal resistance of 1.20m²K/W. Tapered edges allow adjoining boards to be taped and filled for a smooth surface ready for decoration. Installation must follow the latest technical guidance, project specification and applicable Building Regulations.
