DISCLAIMER: This guide acts as a brief outline for shed insulation. Be sure to consult a professional before starting your project.

Step 1:

Start by removing any loose items from inside the shed and cleaning up any dust or debris on the interior walls. On the exterior, ensure that there is a smooth surface free of any sharp objects and no standing water.

Step 2:

Measure each wall in your shed carefully and cut the SuperFOIL to fit using scissors or a sharp utility knife. Make sure to leave a small overlap on each side when cutting the pieces – at least 3 inches.

Step 3:

Begin installing the insulation by starting at the top of one wall, and working downwards until you reach ground level. Secure it to the wall with staples every 10 cm or so around its perimeter. Make sure there are no gaps between pieces by overlapping them.

Step 4:

Continue Step 3 until all four walls are completely covered with insulation. Use a sealant around all edges and corners where two sections overlap in order to form an airtight seal against draughts and water penetration.
